About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Projects Engineer to join our team at BOURBON. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions for subsea projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of structural designs and engineering deliverables for subsea projects, including proposals, specifications, reports, and studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, from engineering to installation and completion.
  • Perform structural analysis and design for subsea installations, including seafastening, lifting, and vessel modifications.
  • Develop and maintain calculation sheets based on offshore standards and best practices.
  • Support tendering teams with technical expertise and attend project kick-off meetings and progress reviews.
  • Review and approve structural engineering documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage graduate trainees and provide guidance on engineering best practices.
  • Oversee project technical aspects, including mobilization, demobilization, equipment fabrication, and offshore work.
  • Ensure subcontractors and vendors adhere to delivery schedules and costs, and evaluate tender proposals.

Requirements

  • Master structural software, such as Ansys or equivalent.
  • Expertise in offshore standards related to structural analysis (AISC, API DNV, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of naval architecture and structural design principles.
