Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly qualified professional to join our organization as a Senior Specialist in Mobile Equipment Maintenance. In this capacity, you will deliver technical expertise and promote best practices aimed at enhancing the performance of mobile equipment maintenance across our operational sites.
You will report directly to the Head of Processes & Assets Management within the Central Technical Division.
Frequent travel will be required, making up about 50% of your work schedule.
Primary Duties:
- Provide technical assistance to maintenance supervisors and operators
- Support the implementation of a World Class Maintenance initiative
- Establish and uphold maintenance standards for machinery and rolling stock
- Track key performance indicators related to asset management
- Offer engineering support for internal projects and operational challenges
- Oversee capital expenditures for mining operations
- Serve as a benchmark for industrial practices
- Lead a network of maintenance experts
- Engage in maintenance-focused working groups
Qualifications:
A Master's degree or equivalent in engineering, complemented by at least 15 years of experience in maintenance within mining environments. Additional qualifications include:
- In-depth knowledge of mobile mining machinery
- Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies
- Capability to work in an international and cross-functional setting
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in English and a working knowledge of French
