About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Officer to join our team at Envu France. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, creation, and maintenance of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of customers, tollers, transporters, and employees by managing hazardous materials and ensuring adherence to international and regional regulations.
  • Develop, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals and hazardous materials used or produced by the company.
  • Lead outsource provider relationships with contractors, consultants, and third-party providers to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Formulation Technology, Product Chemistry, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE), Trade Compliance, Product Supply, and Procurement to gather accurate chemical information and ensure proper documentation.
  • Serve as a resource for safety information and answer SDS-related inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a record of Envu products containing substances listed in international trade regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance and safety management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and good knowledge of data management.
