Job Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the Company: CRDL, a recruitment and headhunting firm based in Valenciennes, is seeking an electromechanical maintenance technician for one of its client companies.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of mechanical and electrical systems across the facility. This includes:

  • Carrying out maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical apparatus, including raw material circuits, furnaces, production machinery, building lighting, electrical distribution networks, gas supply systems, and water treatment facilities.
  • Executing both preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, automation, regulation, and mechanical systems.
  • Providing timely updates regarding assigned tasks to the supervising personnel.
  • Implementing electrical lockout/tagout procedures for all work conducted in the sector.
  • Offering technical assistance to staff in the melting and production areas.
  • Recommending enhancements related to technical processes and safety measures.

Working Hours: 2 shifts per day

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate should possess a background in electrical maintenance, such as a BAC PRO or BTS qualification, and demonstrate the ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics. Proficiency in executing basic electrical installations is essential. Candidates should exhibit qualities such as diligence, independence, organizational skills, adaptability, and effective communication and teamwork abilities.
