Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and committed Operations Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance activities at Gerresheimer. In this role, you will be accountable for the effective organization and execution of maintenance tasks on our production machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the maintenance division and coordinating mechanical adjustments during production transitions
- Ensuring all machinery components meet established standards
- Overseeing the electronics division and validating equipment through thorough inspections
- Implementing necessary corrective measures
- Monitoring equipment adherence to regulations and maintaining relationships with oversight authorities
- Contributing to the development of the capital expenditure budget and suggesting enhancements in productivity and technology
- Managing external service providers (cleaning, maintenance, mechanical components, etc.)
- Organizing responses to equipment failures based on production needs
- Coordinating actions following maintenance requests from the workshop
- Approving technical modifications in collaboration with the production team and notifying logistics of scheduled downtimes
- Upholding and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing setting, ideally in the glass sector
- Profound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and manage priorities
- Proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken
