This transformation is a multi-year journey, characterized by incremental phases that deliver value and transition from traditional PSS capabilities to advanced Airline Retailing functionalities. Such a business revolution occurs only once every decade, presenting a unique opportunity to shape the future.
Your Main Responsibilities
In this position, you will be tasked with delivering cutting-edge Airline solutions within the Order Business Domain, ensuring long-term success for our clients and Amadeus by concentrating on market insights and customer dynamics. You will facilitate collaboration among products, sales, marketing, and customer success.
- Oversee a substantial team, taking responsibility for the performance and outcomes of multiple interconnected units.
- Formulate departmental strategies, manage resource allocation, and establish policy frameworks within your area of responsibility.
- Proactively identify business challenges and issues to define and address complex problems that may affect the division or function.
- Operate in alignment with the overall departmental strategy, requiring minimal supervision in a complex environment.
- Comprehend customer needs and challenges to develop compelling business/product value propositions.
- Define and take ownership of the comprehensive business/product marketing strategy, including key positioning, messaging, tools, and channels.
- Analyze market dynamics, including industry trends, traveler behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
- Manage product profitability by aligning resources throughout the product lifecycle and designing a pricing strategy to optimize revenue.
- Translate strategic objectives into a Marketing Plan, encompassing marketing and communication initiatives.
- Develop and implement an annual marketing plan.
- Establish success metrics for business/product strategies and assess marketing performance and customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for new product development or enhancements by analyzing market, competitor, and customer data, alongside knowledge of Amadeus' offerings that meet customer needs.
- Coordinate all elements for product launches, including informational materials, training, support, marketing communications, positioning, pricing, and sales rollout.
- Support strategic pricing, bid pricing for products, billing model evaluations, and high-level business case development.
