Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensuring component flow, troubleshooting, and correcting machinery issues to guarantee quality and productivity. Team members perform changeovers and setups according to production schedules, conduct quality checks according to established processes, and document results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area, as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper functioning of production equipment in accordance with productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Monitor machine indicators, analyze repetitive failures, and quality defects to implement solutions, following a methodology (direct intervention or recommendations to relevant services).
  • Guarantee compliance of the work environment with applicable rules.
  • Propose improvement axes and participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in the implementation of new processes and equipment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental guidelines, ensuring their application and raising awareness among teams about good practices.
  • Collaborate in customer return management (expertise, corrective actions, and PPSR writing).
  • Be the primary contact for the BE, Methods, Quality, and Industrialization departments for requesting modifications and implementing solutions.

Required Profile and Skills

  • Degree in BAC+2/BAC+3.
  • Able to read and use technical plans and production documents.
  • Capable of choosing control instruments and using them.
  • Familiarity with non-conformity management procedures.
  • Sense of responsibility.
  • Organizational and anticipation skills.
  • Relational skills.
