MyJobCompany is seeking a skilled Naval Designer and Projector to join our team in a challenging interim role. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for conceiving, modeling, and pre-dimensioning mechanical equipment in the Conception and Integration Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: From a functional specification developed by the project team, design mechanical parts or assemblies, optimizing cost, quality, and execution ease while adhering to industry rules, norms, and regulations.
- Feasibility Studies: Determine and calculate functional, physical, dimensional, structural, or geometric constraints of parts and conduct feasibility studies in collaboration with the entire design team, industrialization, and production teams.
- Design and Prototyping: Design assemblies and sub-assemblies using the appropriate nomenclature, creating 3D models and 2D plans, and simulating various operational possibilities to refine dimensions.
- Technical Support: Ensure technical support for production teams to guarantee and optimize the fabricability of assemblies and sub-assemblies designed by the projector.
- Equipment Lifecycle Management: Follow equipment throughout their lifecycle, handling technical issues (obsolescence, renovations, optimizations, etc.) and proposing evolutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design, with expertise in TopSolid V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Knowledge of ANSYS, SpaceClaim, and topological optimization is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
What We Offer:
