Position Overview

The role of Project Engineer is integral to the Project Management Office, reporting directly to the Industrial Project Manager. This position plays a crucial role in the design and execution of the EMILI Process Plants, ensuring timely delivery from consultants and leading essential cross-functional project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
  • Plan project management tasks, including setting deadlines and assigning team members to deliverables.
  • Analyze financial data, including project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Provide financial reports and budget outlines in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
  • Oversee project development, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Draft and enhance project management office policies and processes.
  • Continuously evaluate projects for compliance with company standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Document the project's creation, development, and execution, including scope and justification.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing Engineering Consultants to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Participate in engineering discussions and complete reviews of submitted documentation.
  • Assist in reporting project progress and upcoming activities.
  • Support procurement activities as needed.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with approximately 10 years of progressive experience in project management or engineering management within an industrial context. Experience in the chemicals or metals sectors is advantageous.
