Key Responsibilities- Lead analytical testing, including sample preparation, analysis, and result interpretation, in close collaboration with the Cell Biology department.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for analytical chemistry experiments, ensuring seamless logistics and sample preparation.
- Develop in-house analytical methods for protein, sugar, and lipid detection and quantification.
- Coordinate the development of food-grade, economically viable animal cell culture media formulations.
- Nurture partnerships with external collaborators, including academics and ingredient/media suppliers.
- Contribute to the creation of documentation to support regulatory filings.
- MSc/PhD in biotechnology, chemical engineering, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a biotech company.
- Strong understanding of component solubility and stability in various media/solutions.
- Project management skills and ability to handle external relations with partners.
- Highly motivated and solution-oriented individual.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Bonus: comprehensive knowledge of cell biology concepts and experience in an early-stage startup.
