Position Title: Infrastructure Operations Manager

Company: ENGIE France Retail

Within the Support & Operations division of the IT department, our team comprises four specialized groups:

  • Daily Operations Team: Responsible for addressing field feedback regarding the quality of the Production Information System and coordinating incident management activities.
  • Multi-application Testing Team: Tasked with organizing and executing comprehensive functional tests across multiple applications, managing business testing, and assisting in Change Management processes.
  • Innovation Team: Focused on proposing and implementing shared tools for the entire IT department, including monitoring, ticketing, and automation solutions.
  • Infrastructure Services Team: Dedicated to managing shared infrastructures, particularly in the Cloud environment (DevOps and FinOps).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing the teams within the Infrastructure and Operations division of the Support and Operations IT department.
  • Aligning business objectives with the delivery of expected service quality for production applications.

To achieve these goals, you will need to:

  • Lead the infrastructure and operations division, ensuring effective delivery and performance metrics.
  • Adhere to IT commitments as required by the business.
  • Facilitate the Infrastructure and Operations team and resources through regular meetings and committees.
  • Provide a short- and medium-term technological vision to guide the establishment of long-term plans.
  • Encourage and support technological innovation initiatives.
  • Supervise both internal and external collaborators.
  • Engage with various partners to foster collaboration.
  • Promote the achievements and contributions of the team both internally and externally.
  • Ensure the monitoring and control of activities within the infrastructure and operations division.
  • Develop a recruitment strategy aligned with projected resource needs based on activity growth.
  • Manage and oversee the budget while ensuring effective cost control.
  • Implement a FinOps strategy to manage cloud expenses and facilitate forecasting.
  • Contribute to enhancing the DSI DCP's maturity in scaling agility (CI/CD; DevOps).
  • Adopt an economic performance approach through lean methodologies.
  • Advocate for the IT initiatives of the business unit within the ENGIE Group.

Given the scale of the systems you will manage, your role is pivotal in transforming the information systems of France Retail:

You will play a significant part in shaping the transformation roadmap for France Retail's information systems.

You will spearhead and guide technological initiatives across the DSI France Retail.

We seek candidates with a strong IT background and substantial experience, particularly in:

  • IT production operations (ITIL methodology, processes, tools).
  • Cloud infrastructure management (AWS, SAAS, and On-Premise).
  • Application and technical oversight.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Agile methodologies, particularly the SAFE Framework.
  • Project management in V-cycle.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Team leadership and project management skills (quality, cost, time).
