As part of the Group CUO Operations & Transformation Team , you will engage in strategic initiatives that empower the GUO organization through collaboration, support, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Purpose of the Role

The primary objective is to facilitate and drive initiatives across the GUO and GIE, focusing on various topics such as AXA GO/TDO, Global Business Services (GBS), Data Procurement, and Finance.

Context & Challenges

The Global Chief Underwriting Office is tasked with establishing and driving profitability and growth through strategic product underwriting, portfolio design, and technical excellence in collaboration with AXA entities.

The CUO Transformation & Operations team, led by the Head of Group CUO Transformation & Operations, is responsible for executing the CUO strategy at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead initiatives and provide support to the GUO Head of Operations and Engagement, collaborating closely with members of the Group Transformation & Operations Team and GUO staff across GIE and entities.

This role serves as a vital link to address the needs and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders, requiring a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive business and employee information.

Your accountabilities will include:

AXA GUO Engagement

  • Overseeing GUO engagement with Group functions, addressing both daily operational and strategic topics.
  • Analyzing and defining GUO 'demands and needs' through process design and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Management – Facilitating governance structures to ensure GUO requirements are gathered and communicated effectively.
  • Communication – Proactively engaging with stakeholders to address issues and provide updates.

Procurement and Outsourced Services

  • Supporting the GUO Head of Operations in developing a strategic roadmap for procurement and outsourced services.

Procurement

  • Ensuring compliance with Group and GIE procurement processes for all partnerships.
  • Maintaining a register of external partnerships and monitoring key metrics.
  • Collaborating with GUO leadership on new partnerships and ensuring proper onboarding.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities through negotiations at the group level.
  • Establishing clear business requirements and KPIs for outsourced relationships.

Outsourced Services

  • Developing a strategic roadmap to leverage outsourced services in support of GUO objectives.
  • Creating business requirements and process designs for responsibilities transferred to outsourced partners.
  • Monitoring the quality of work and service delivery through defined KPIs.
  • Using data and feedback to proactively resolve service issues.
  • Escalating significant issues to senior management as necessary.
