About the Role

As a Release Manager at Enreach, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and quality of our software versions. You will be responsible for defining and implementing a rigorous process for verifying patches, including setting up delivery sheets, understanding the patch, conducting risk analysis, performing unit and system tests, and writing update procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define a quality process for patches from the Development team, including:
    • Defining a delivery sheet through our Jira tool
    • Understanding the fix with the developer
    • Conducting functional risk and impact analysis and system
    • Defining additional tests to be automated
  • Validate, integrate, and write the update procedure for patches, including:
    • Integrating the patch into the test branch
    • Executing automated tests to validate the patch – Analyzing the results
    • Integrating the patch into the stable branch
    • Writing the update procedure incorporating the new patch – delivery sheet to the teams in charge of updating the version with the customer
Requirements
  • Dynamic, curious, and autonomous individual
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and be the point of reference between teams (in French and English)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on software and telecom issues
  • Eager to communicate, document, and exchange with the teams in charge of development and operations on the processes you have put in place
  • 3 years of experience with a last convincing experience with a publisher or telecom operator
  • Proven skills in software version control (GIT/BitBucket) and patch backport tool, network analysis and diagnostic tools (Wireshark), Confluence-type document management tool, bug tracking tool (Jira), analysis of VOIP technical problems based on log files, and proposal of reasoned resolution hypothesis, Linux (CentOS)
