Research Opportunity: Polymer-Based Gas Sensors
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our collaborative project between IMT Nord Europe and Groupe TERA. This exciting opportunity focuses on developing novel gas sensors based on conductive organic surfaces, contributing to advancements in air quality monitoring and environmental protection.
Responsibilities:- Synthesize and formulate various composites based on polyanilines
- Design and execute experiments to investigate the influence of solvents and dopants on gas detection performance
- Develop computational models to simulate gas-solid interactions and sensor response
- Optimize the formulation of conductive polymers for enhanced sensor material properties
- PhD in materials science, solid-state chemistry, or a related field
- Proven expertise in the synthesis and characterization of conductive polymers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
