Position Overview:
At Nexans Industrial Solutions & Projects, we specialize in the design and production of cables and intricate solutions tailored for our industrial clientele.
We are in search of a Chief Information Security Officer to enhance our Information Systems department, which is currently under development.
Your role will be pivotal in formulating our security policies and action plans aimed at safeguarding our Information Systems and Industrial Environment from cyber threats, including malware, hacking attempts, and fraudulent activities.
It will be essential to promote security awareness and provide training on security matters, ensuring that operational and business unit management are informed and that the IT security charter is communicated effectively to all personnel.
- May propose a Security Assurance Plan detailing the security measures for a service, which could be appended to a contract.
- Monitors regulatory and technical advancements in the field, identifying necessary adjustments to maintain the security of IS software and hardware.
- Evaluates risks, threats, and potential impacts, establishing a prevention strategy and implementing technical and/or organizational measures to monitor, assess security, and respond to incidents.
- Requires a Master's Degree from a prestigious business or engineering school or a top-tier university.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of security principles, including cyber threats, attack methodologies, and risk management.
- Certifications in CyberSecurity or Information Security (ISO 2700x/27032, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Fluency in both English and French is required.
