Currently, Aerospacelab operates offices in multiple locations, employing more than 200 full-time staff members, with aspirations to become the leading entity in the small satellite sector across Europe.

We are seeking an AIT Engineer to enhance our capabilities.

As an AIT Engineer, your responsibilities will include managing testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct basic and functional evaluations on payloads, including electronics, mechanics, GNC, and propulsion systems. Define or specify the necessary sensors, tools, and methods to execute tests in accordance with regulatory standards (safety, environmental considerations, etc.) and subsystem requirements. Oversee the acquisition of tools and equipment as needed. Ensure the optimal performance of testing setups. Manage and analyze data generated during testing procedures.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related testing field. Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments to drive projects to successful completion independently. Demonstrated expertise in defining testing methodologies and executing test bench evaluations (including vibration testing). 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with various mechanical design software (e.g., Solidworks, Ansys) is highly valued. Experience with space environment standards is also highly regarded.
