Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Business Project Manager/Works Manager:
• Prepare the construction site by familiarizing yourself with the project details (kick-off meetings, contractual documents, technical execution files, site visits, SQE guidelines, etc.).
• Identify service boundaries and assist in defining specific operational procedures.
• Participate in risk assessments, including health and safety protection plans and environmental considerations.
• Develop a task monitoring plan and establish procurement requirements (equipment, supplies, materials, and tools).
• Break down the project schedule into actionable tasks and propose alternatives for operational procedures.
• Identify necessary human and material resources and prepare the site for operations (offices, storage, sanitary facilities, etc.).
Site Management:
• Communicate guidelines and objectives to the team (organization, performance timelines, equipment usage).
• Organize material supply, including personal and collective protective equipment, machinery locations, and storage areas.
• Schedule activities and resources, assign tasks to team members, and ensure adherence to the construction file.
• Monitor compliance with QHSE procedures and analyze incidents to implement preventive measures.
• Manage the schedule and budget, proposing solutions for any deviations.
• Validate administrative documentation (time tracking, transfer slips, work authorizations, etc.) and report on site activities to superiors.
• Provide technical support to operational staff and coordinate with all project stakeholders.
Team Management:
• Welcome new team members and manage the team effectively (lead, delegate, evaluate, motivate).
• Ensure skill transfer within the team and conduct performance reviews.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of 2 years higher education in Electrical Engineering or Technical Studies.
Experience: Significant experience in a similar role, with a portion gained in the field.
Skills: Autonomous, meticulous, and organized, recognized for technical expertise. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and unify construction teams.
