Cosmetic Quality Engineer Job Description

MAESA INC. is seeking a highly skilled Cosmetic Quality Engineer to join our team in Levallois-Perret. As a key member of our Quality Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our customers' cosmetic products throughout the development, production, and distribution phases.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement, manage, and monitor the quality of cosmetic products.
  • Be the quality contact for internal and external departments, including suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Work in project teams with various departments, including Development, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Production, and Logistics.
  • Meet customer requirements and check the application of Maesa expectations by suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Carry out supplier and subcontractor audits, evaluate them, and participate in the follow-up of action plans.
  • Participate in the improvement of the MAESA quality management system.
Requirements:
  • Bac+5, Master 2, or Engineering School Degree with a specialization in Quality.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the same or related field.
  • Experience working with a team, leading or contributing to managing a functional group.
  • Expertise in managing projects.
  • Strong sense of customer relations and operational excellence.
  • Attentive, methodical, and organized.
  • Effective and empathetic team leadership and coordination.
  • Strong team cross-collaboration communication skills.
  • English and French fluency, with a 3rd language a plus
  • Experience working on an industrial site, with cosmetic packaging being ideal.
  • Able to work in project mode with internal and external interlocutors.
  • Master quality tools, problem-solving tools, risk analysis tools, and PDCA.
  • Knowledge of audit techniques applied with suppliers/subcontractors.
  • Proficient in the Office Pack and experience with one or more ERPs, such as DIVALTO.
