Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team as an Assistant to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Bioinformatics and Biostatistics. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and validation of our internal research and development (R&D) projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the CTO in the daily management of ongoing projects and tasks, providing expertise in bioinformatics and biostatistics.
- Contribute to the specification, development, and validation of cutting-edge software solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific challenges, design tailored analysis strategies, and communicate transparently at every stage of the project.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in bioinformatics, biostatistics, and related fields to incorporate innovations into our projects.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or computational biology.
- Experience in bioinformatics and biostatistics with a solid biological understanding.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, R, Python, and relevant bioinformatics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain concepts and results to clients.
