Job Description

As a skilled Tourneur Conventionnel F-H at Safran Helicopter Engines, you will be responsible for performing conventional turning operations, utilizing all recommended means and adhering to quality, safety, and production planning requirements.

You will ensure the operational readiness of your workstation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the availability and conformity of necessary documentation for the machining operation. Report any discrepancies.
• Verify the availability and validity of production means (including control), products used, and parts required for the operation. Report any discrepancies.
• Prepare tools and make necessary adjustments to ensure conforming machining in accordance with requested specifications.
• Perform turning operations.
• Conduct self-inspection of parts to validate the operation.
• Complete documentation related to the repair order and electronically record the operation, including time spent.
• Report anomalies encountered and propose solutions.
• Perform first-level maintenance tasks defined for your workstation.
• Maintain your workstation, tool, and work area in accordance with instructions.
• Wear recommended Personal Protective Equipment and report daily SSE risks detected.
• Participate in various work groups/ improvement projects for the line or service.
• Attend the daily team meeting (SQCDPI/QRQC).

  Additional Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain 5S.
  • Ensure the proper respect of safety rules on your machine.
  • Be a source of improvement for your workstation.

  Requirements:

  • You have knowledge of dimensional control (column measurement, point-to-point bench, etamic, etc.).
  • You can perform maintenance on simple machines following detailed pre-defined procedures.
  • You can propose and/or implement minor modifications to fabrication, assembly, and repair processes.
  • You can use technical documents and propose improvements and modifications.
  • You can conduct inspections using a method and control procedure.
  • You respect safety guidelines.
