Join Our Team as a Senior Program Officer
The World Bank Group is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Program Officer to enhance our efforts in climate finance. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, a worldwide initiative dedicated to channeling resources towards climate finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Coalition's strategic work plan focused on financial sector policies and engagement with the private sector.
- Oversee the creation of knowledge resources and policy documents for the Coalition.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative learning sessions for Coalition participants.
- Offer expert input for Ministerial Meetings and other significant gatherings.
- Administer reporting frameworks and guide the preparation of the Annual Report.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in environmental or climate finance.
- Exceptional communication and coordination abilities with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Capability to navigate complex challenges related to climate finance and fiscal policy.
- Experience in intergovernmental processes is advantageous.
