Job Title: Data Translator CE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Translator CE to join our team at McCain Foods. As a Data Translator CE, you will be responsible for articulating analytics propositions to manufacturing stakeholders and conducting diagnostics in plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Use Case Strategy:
    • Develop a comprehensive analytics implementation roadmap by identifying and prioritizing use cases to be implemented by the data lead and automation specialist.
    • Articulate analytics propositions to manufacturing stakeholders and conduct diagnostics in plants to identify use case opportunities.
  • Analytics Use Case Implementation:
    • Define technical implementation plans to deploy use cases successfully.
    • Support data scientists to conduct operations and business-relevant analyses and insights.
    • Translate insights from advanced analyses to tangible and relevant outcomes for the business and operations facilities.
    • Ensure developed models solve business needs and improve line performance sustainably.
    • Create business cases associated with analytics use cases to prove value and contribute to the manufacturing SCA pipeline and cost reduction.
  • Team Management:
    • Provide direction, leadership, and oversight for the analytics team (automation specialist and data scientist).
    • Support data scientists to conduct operations and business-relevant analyses and insights.
    • Guide automation specialists in prioritizing needs for sensor implementation and data connections.
    • Develop change management actions to roll out changes related to data-driven decision-making in the plants.
  • Communication and Link with Manufacturing Teams:
    • Lead communication of analytics outputs with executives.
    • Act as a bridge between manufacturing and analytics specialists.
    • Share insights with business stakeholders and collect inputs to verify and iterate analytics results.

Requirements:

  • Engineering background.
  • Experience in data analysis.
  • Project management skills.
