REEL SAS, a leading company in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of complex material handling and lifting systems for various industries, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at our Villefranche S/S factory.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure quality control of projects involving modification and installation of electromechanical equipment for nuclear power plants in operation (France, export) and new constructions (EPR UK, EPR2, etc.).
- Perform inspections, surveillance, and acceptance tests at the workshop.
- Verify the traceability of materials and operations.
- Contribute to the formalization of the LOFC (Level of Factory Control) and ensure its application and justification in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Meet with clients to discuss LOFC points and provide guidance.
- Verify control reports and update the supply tracking table with data from the factory.
- Pilot non-conformities for projects and ensure the conformity of manufactured materials and associated documentation.
- Contribute to the overall quality of the factory: internal surveillance, continuous improvement, internal audits, client or third-party audits.
- Higher technical education (Bac +2/3 to Bac +5) in materials or mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or welding.
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience in the metallurgy or mechanical industry, in quality or manufacturing methods, preferably in project mode.
- Familiarity with boiler-making or equipment manufacturing in steel will be appreciated.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding and non-destructive testing (PT/UT).
- Experience working in highly regulated environments and knowledge of a construction code such as RCCM will be an asset.
- Good level of English required for client, supplier meetings and frequent travel to client sites and construction sites (Rhone-Alpes, Bourgogne, Franche Comte regions).
- Driving license (Permis B) is mandatory.
