We are currently seeking a skilled Cost Estimation Engineer to join a prominent construction group based in Aix-en-Provence. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale technical projects, encompassing both new constructions and renovations, across various contract types.
Job Responsibilities- Accurately determine the overall project cost.
- Develop comprehensive estimates for materials, equipment, labor, and propose viable technical alternatives to optimize costs.
- Collaborate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate the seamless handover of projects to construction teams, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to budget constraints.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in cost estimation, ideally within the general contracting industry.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction cost estimation principles and practices.
