Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager CDI H/F

Location: Chartres, France

As a Senior HSE Manager at Coty, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the plant's HSE initiatives in close collaboration with other site leaders, all while adhering to the Group's safety framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Operational Excellence Leader to enhance processes.
  • Health Program: Partner with HR Leaders to develop and implement health initiatives.
  • Safety Standards: Design, execute, and maintain safety protocols grounded in best HSE practices.
  • Environmental Management: Work alongside the engineering team to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Legal Compliance: Manage legal requirements and documentation processes in conjunction with the engineering team and on-site technical experts.

You will report directly to the Plant Manager and collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders, including the Operations Director, Engineering Director, Nurse, CSSCT representatives, and HR teams. Your colleagues are dedicated, passionate, and committed to excellence.

As an experienced Senior HSE Manager, you thrive in a dynamic, diverse, and international setting. You possess strong prioritization skills and enjoy engaging with various stakeholders. Additionally, you:

  • Bring over 10 years of experience in the industry, preferably within FMCG, chemistry, or process sectors, along with an Engineering degree.
  • Have a comprehensive HSE background, including People Safety, Process Safety, Industrial Safety, Site Surveillance, and Environmental Protection.
  • Exhibit training and coaching abilities, with a focus on fostering connections while maintaining zero tolerance for complacency.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities, decisiveness, and a keen sense of priorities.
  • Possess fluency in both French and English.
