Position: Slitting Line Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Slitting Line Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting equipment to produce high-quality finished products.

• Your Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate slitting machines according to production specifications.
• Prepare strappings and ensure proper tensioning for efficient material handling.
• Package finished slit strips accurately and securely.
• Conduct thorough quality checks throughout the process, verifying thickness, winding height, and appearance of both incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Your Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating slitting equipment is highly desirable.
• A valid ground crane license is an asset.
• Ability to read and understand production orders and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate of $12, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
