Job Title: Textile Recycling CoordinatorHermès is committed to sustainable development and deploys various corporate social responsibility projects internally and throughout the value chain. As part of this, we have implemented a textile recycling process and provide organizational and material resources to industrialize this process.
Missions:- Be the primary contact for textile-producing units to be recycled and manage the collection:
- Inform entities of the correct operating procedures
- Manage material flows
- Receive and inspect the material, drive continuous improvement with producing entities
- Direct towards appropriate flows and channels
- Manage stocks of textiles eligible for upcycling
- Provide necessary information for client decision making
- Respond to internal requests
- Handle after-sales service and order preparation
- Organize neutralization campaigns based on criticality (overseeing destocking and cutting campaigns)
- Change material statuses
- Ship materials to appropriate channels
- Ensure traceability of operations
- Manage logistical and after-sales aspects
- Utilize available equipment (cutting machine, shredding, baling press, handling machinery...)
- Coordinate and monitor inventory levels
- Maintain tracking indicators
- Keep financial indicators up to date
- Archive regulatory documents (recycling certificates...)
- Role requiring 2/3 operational and 1/3 coordination/organization of activities
- The role demands an intrinsic appetite for sustainability and interest in textile materials and fibers, as acquiring expertise in textile recycling is crucial to ensuring a high level of quality in our recycled products
- This role necessitates organizational skills to plan various tasks
- Proficiency in computer systems (ERP) and technical aspects (equipment operation) is required
- Experience in logistics and associated computer systems
