About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Centre de Nanoscience et Nanotechnologie (C2N) in Palaiseau, France. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative project between the C2N and the Conseil national de la recherche du Canada, focusing on developing machine learning models for silicon photonics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms for predicting the behavior of silicon photonics devices
- Contribute to the development of novel silicon photonics components and experimental characterizations
- Collaborate with the project team to achieve project goals and milestones
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field
- Experience in machine learning, photonics, and nanofabrication
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or MATLAB
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The Centre de Nanoscience et Nanotechnologie (C2N) is a joint research unit between the CNRS, the University of Paris-Saclay, and the University of Paris Cité. Our team is dedicated to advancing the field of silicon photonics, with a focus on developing innovative solutions for telecommunications, datacom, and other applications.
