Your Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes that cater to diverse organizational needs.
- Optimizing data architectures to facilitate efficient storage, processing, and retrieval of information.
- Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver top-notch data solutions.
- Implementing and managing data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting data systems to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our data infrastructure.
- Ensuring compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Mentoring junior data engineers and advocating for best practices in data engineering.
Your Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar capacity, with a solid foundation in data architecture and pipeline development.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with various database technologies, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions across platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
- Fluency in English.
