Lengow is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to contribute to our dynamic team.

As a key member of our development group, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications. We are committed to building scalable, maintainable, and robust solutions that drive our business forward.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and services.
  • Clean Architecture: Implement and advocate for clean architecture principles to ensure a scalable, maintainable, and testable codebase.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to automate workflows, deployments, and infrastructure management.
  • Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to uphold best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product Management, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Testing: Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and CI/CD processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process.
Your Profile:

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in Python development and a passion for building high-quality software.

  • You have at least 7 years of experience in Python development.
  • You understand clean architecture principles.
  • You are proficient in tackling legacy code and reducing technical debt.
  • You have experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, Redis, Celery, and Django.
  • You are comfortable working with large data volumes.
  • Your troubleshooting skills are backed by a strong expertise in APM and, ideally, Datadog.
  • Skills in MongoDB and NoSQL are a plus.
  • You have knowledge of and a keen interest in the web and e-commerce industries.
  • You are familiar with modern CI/CD tooling.
  • You have experience with Terraform.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
