With a team of 145 employees, including 110 engineers and technicians across ten research laboratories and unique technical platforms, IFTH specializes in three core areas: Technical and Innovation Consulting, Testing and Certification, and Knowledge and Skills. These expertise areas are leveraged throughout the entire value chain of textile clothing projects.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Materials Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and managing materials for testing purposes.
  • Preparing textile samples for analysis.
  • Conducting pretreatments on textiles, including washing, drying, and aging processes.
  • Performing specific physical and fire tests, accurately recording all results.
  • Monitoring the operation of testing equipment and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
  • Managing and archiving samples after completion of testing procedures.
  • Contributing to the development of technical documentation related to your role.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Baccalaureate or equivalent in a technical/scientific field.
  • Experience: All levels of experience are welcome.
  • Skills: Proficiency in basic office software (Word, Excel) and familiarity with textiles is advantageous.
  • Attributes: A genuine interest in manual work, adaptability, meticulousness, attention to detail, a commitment to quality service, and a client-focused approach.
