As an Optical Engineer, you'll drive this transformation by identifying and developing new tools and methodologies for smart optical components, building optical setups, and qualifying metrological performance. You'll work closely with teams in Dijon, France, and contribute to our R&D Smarteyewear Lens ambition.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Optical Design and Development: Identify existing tools or develop new methodologies for smart optical components.
- Optical Setup and Validation: Build and validate optical setups to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Supplier Coordination and Equipment Development: Coordinate supplier activities to build equipment, when required.
- Qualification and Performance Optimization: Qualify the metrological performance of tools and equipment.
- Measurement Campaigns: Perform measurements campaigns for characterization of components or sub-systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Optical Engineering – System Design and Simulation.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in optical design for optronics systems.
- Skills: Good knowledge of image quality characterization and photometry, camera and sensor expertise, and experience with Optical Simulation Software – Zemax.
- Language: Fluency in English.
