About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor - Apprentice to join our team at HITACHI ASTEMO FRANCE S.A.S. in the Brake Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in improving the effectiveness of the internal control system of the Business Unit, identifying opportunities for process improvements to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with J-Sox regulations as defined by the Group.
  • Play a key role in the scoping, performance, and reporting phases of internal audit projects in Europe.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the annual J-SOX plan.
  • Engage with control/process owners to update narratives, RCM, understand key controls, and associated risks for new and existing processes.
  • Conduct tests of key controls, coordinating with process owners to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Significantly contribute to J-SOX remediation testing.
  • Document findings and provide periodic updates to the Internal Audit Manager and Director.
  • Help prepare and secure Hitachi Ltd audits and assist with J-SOX requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Continuously work on improving J-SOX programs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • First experience desired in operational and financial audit.
  • Knowledge of an internal control framework.
  • Fluency in English and French.
