We are seeking a skilled Commodity Buyer to join our team in Lyon, France. As a Commodity Buyer, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, portfolio continuous improvement, and performance. You will contribute to segment strategies and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage supplier relationships to deliver performance related to QDCFTSR targets.
- Identify, mitigate, and monitor risks.
- Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers.
- Drive cost reduction ideas generation and lead cross-functional work to implement them.
- Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics, and financial flows.
- Contribute to team development by bringing improvement ideas, supporting peers, and sharing best practices.
- A strong and flexible team player with a can-do approach and positive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional and multi-cultural setup.
- A business or engineering academic and professional background.
- Fluency in English.
