Murex Market Risk Consultant Job Description

Upskills is seeking a highly skilled Murex Market Risk Consultant to join our team in a client-servicing role. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for driving the global system implementation of one of our clients, with a focus on MRE / MRA configuration, test case definition and execution, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure MRE / MRA according to project design
  • Define, execute, and validate test cases and deliverables
  • Support clients during SIT and UAT testing
  • Utilize Murex Model and Methodology to implement solutions
  • Troubleshoot and debug Murex Market Risk issues
  • Assist with system integration, data migration, and implementation
  • Collaborate with technology teams and other divisions to deliver system solutions
  • Build strong relationships with users and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Applied Finance, Financial Engineering, Business Analysis, or Computer Science
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Murex VAR implementation or support
  • Strong knowledge of Murex risk modules (MRA, MRE, MLC)
  • Familiarity with SQL and Unix commands
  • Functional overview of datamart setup
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
