About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our Demand Inventory Planning & Operational Planning team, you will play a crucial role in managing inventories and sales forecasts for our spare parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operational tasks and continuous improvement activities in a dynamic and innovative atmosphere.
  • Manage end-of-life parts, monitor and improve forecast quality, and respond to requests from the functional email box.
  • Carry out daily operational tasks of deploying parts from the central warehouse to the support warehouses and commercial debaptising of remanufactured parts.
  • Conduct continuous improvement activities to optimize deployment quality, detailed performance analysis, and find the optimum balance between storage and transport costs.
Requirements
  • Basic programming skills (Python, VBA, SQL, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Excel (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Good level of English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of the supply chain (demand forecasting, inventory management)
