The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Snaphunt. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and products, translating feature requests and product plans into technical plans, and ensuring commitment to stipulated deadlines.

The Role

Your main task will be to recommend and code in the best technologies to create amazing products that solve the data challenges of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving improvement by designing and implementing new features and products.
• Participating in defining programming objectives and setting timelines for deliverables.
• Writing well-designed and efficient back-end code using best software development practices.
• Identifying risks involved with development and providing solutions to resolve complex problems.
• Working closely with the Project Manager/Business analyst to plan and evaluate work performed by the team.
• Setting up best coding practices and conducting regular code reviews.
• Mentoring junior programmers in the team.
• Keeping abreast of new technologies.

The Requirements

You ideally have 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack/ backend developer preferably in an Agile environment with exposure to the full software development life cycle. You have a strong background in Node.js as well as proficiency in database management using NoSQL/MongoDB. You are a self-driven individual with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
