AXA Group Operations is a cost center within AXA Group, operating across 13 countries and comprising around 7,000 staff members. It is the IT 'heart' of AXA Group and plays a crucial role in the company's digital transformation.

Overview of GO Finance Division

The GO Finance division operates in 13 countries, with 14 legal entities. There are approximately 250 people working for GO Finance. The division is undergoing a massive Finance Transformation, with three new tools implemented since April 2024: SAP S4HANA, COUPA, and ANAPLAN.

Finance Transformation Department's Missions
  • Implement new processes and collaborate with other AXA GO finance departments to transfer activities once stabilized.
  • Support Finance Departments in their process improvements.
  • Steer the Finance community through harmonization, simplification, and modernization of tools and processes towards a lean organization while improving data quality.
  • Ensure roles and responsibilities are well-defined across the finance division.
  • Facilitate communication between Finance and IT for projects impacting finance tools or data.
  • Be the entry point inside AXA GO for any transformation topic.
  • Take the lead on ad-hoc Finance projects to improve finance department efficiency.
Job Purpose

As part of the Finance Transformation team, the Finance Transformation Officer reports to the Head of Finance Transformation and is responsible for:

  • Supporting Finance Transformation with tools improvement and deployment within Group Operations worldwide.
  • Facilitating discussions between finance and IT to improve efficiency and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Clarifying roles and responsibilities regarding tools by collaborating between Finance and IT teams.
  • Prioritizing requests from users to streamline finance processes and ease rationalization and deployment of common practices across countries.
  • Acting as a project manager for various finance transformation topics.
Leadership Capabilities
  • Strong finance background to understand finance processes.
  • Strong skills in project management.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP, ANAPLAN, and COUPA.
  • Experience in business transformation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to drive change in a transversal/functional mode.
  • Solution-driven in an agile mode.
Languages

English: fluent mandatory (50% of meetings and written communication are in English). French: fluent mandatory (50% of meetings and written communication are in French).

Education and Experience

Experience in finance is a must. Experience in change management and transformation is also required. Around 10 years of working experience in a dynamic business environment.
