About the Job

Amazon France Transport SAS is seeking a skilled Technicien(ne) HSE to join our team. As a key member of our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment and Audit: Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with Amazon's safety procedures.
  • Site Surveillance: Monitor the site to ensure that processes are aligned with Amazon's safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Communication: Create and update safety reports for colleagues and collaborate with operational teams and other departments to address safety concerns.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with colleagues to implement new safety measures and provide guidance on safety procedures.
A Day in the Life

As a Technicien(ne) HSE, you will work on-site, monitoring activities and being available to answer questions from colleagues. Your primary focus will be to identify potential issues before they arise. You will spend a significant amount of time inspecting the site and familiarizing yourself with how colleagues use equipment. With a deep understanding of each task and machine, you will identify the best ways to ensure process safety.

You will collaborate with many colleagues to implement safety changes and provide support to our operations team during safety missions. Safety is paramount at Amazon, and you will help us collect essential data to maintain control over our processes and anticipate potential issues. You will share this data and collaborate with other teams to ensure that safety is the top priority.

About the Team

The SHE team is responsible for the mental and physical well-being of our employees on-site. We work with managers, colleagues, and local authorities across all our sites to ensure that we respect Amazon's policies and regulations and that our workplaces are safe. Opportunities are plentiful and varied within the team, from HSE technicians to program directors. Regardless of your role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of our high safety and well-being standards. You will work on various projects alongside colleagues from across the company, including equipment and process inspections, process evaluations, and building and equipment design.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or professional certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in data analysis to generate and explain safety indicators.
  • Language: Fluent in French.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, both in writing and during presentations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
