Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SysOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high reliability, elasticity, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate activities of a distributed SysOps team to ensure seamless cloud infrastructure management.
  • Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as ECS, ECR, EC2, ASG, and Systems Manager.
  • Plan and lead technical projects that interact with various teams within the company to ensure successful implementation.
  • Define standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure management and ensure their adoption across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Development teams to design and manage CI/CD pipelines, solution architecture, service catalog, and technology choices.
  • Manage the distribution of operational tasks across team members to ensure efficient cloud infrastructure management.
  • Ensure high reliability, elasticity, scalability, and security of maintained platforms.
  • Help prevent and investigate production issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • Expert-level experience with AWS services, preferably certified in SysOps or Solution Architecture.
  • Proficiency in ECS, ECR, EC2, ASG, Systems Manager, ALB, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, SNS, AWS WAF, Docker, and Linux.
  • Experience in programming in at least one language, preferably Python.
  • Proficiency in IaaC using CloudFormation and CI/CD using Git, Gitlab, and Jenkins.
  • Good knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud computing patterns.
  • Good knowledge of security standards and best practices, modern Authentication and Authorization methods.
  • Firm grasp of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
Soft Skills
  • Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Experience and knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a plus.
  • Multiple years of International team collaboration, preferably with leadership experience.
  • Fluency in English.
