Role Overview

  • Location: Arras (62) or Paris region

Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Director, you will oversee the execution of the procurement policy at Veolia Agriculture France. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our procurement strategy and managing all related performance indicators, both financial and non-financial.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing the procurement policy in collaboration with the General Management and the Group Purchasing Department: establishing a procurement strategy, implementing necessary resources, gathering and analyzing operational needs, managing policy execution in the field, and proposing improvement initiatives;
  • Serving as the primary contact for internal clients regarding procurement functions, promoting and communicating framework contracts negotiated by the Group, representing procurement interests in key organizational bodies, and negotiating strategic files specific to VAF activities;
  • Assisting operational teams in negotiating and implementing strategic local agreements;
  • Proactively addressing significant procurement issues (organization, methods, procedures, systems, tools) and actively participating in the development and deployment of procurement tools;
  • Monitoring procurement performance levels and their impact on operational efficiency;
  • Managing the annual overall efficiency program;
  • Creating activity reports and dashboards by converting ERP data to meet Veolia Group standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (BAC+5) from a general engineering or business school, ideally with additional training in procurement;
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, with essential experience in negotiating and deploying framework contracts in project mode;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally;
  • Ability to listen, be available, and manage change effectively;
  • Negotiation skills with a capacity for making proposals;
  • Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating team spirit;
  • Attention to detail and intellectual integrity;
  • Curiosity and critical thinking skills to explore subjects in depth;
  • Fluency in English is essential.
