Senior Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Studies Manager to join our team at Otis College of Art and Design. As a Technical Studies Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and researchers in the development of new technologies and solutions for the elevator and escalator industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers and researchers in the development of new technologies and solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research projects
• Develop and implement research plans and strategies to achieve business objectives
• Manage and coordinate research projects from concept to completion
• Ensure that research projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance research and development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and identify opportunities for innovation and growth

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, physics, or materials science
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a research and development role, preferably in the elevator and escalator industry
• Proven track record of leading research projects and teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
