L'Union sociale pour l'habitat is seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. As part of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our housing complexes across the Alsace region.
Your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and installations to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conducting thorough inspections of safety devices and maintaining accurate records to guarantee a secure environment for our residents.
- Preparing vacant housing units for new tenants by completing necessary repairs and adjustments.
- Handling manual labor tasks to modify and adapt housing units according to specific requirements.
- Monitoring fluid levels, identifying discrepancies, and reporting findings to ensure efficient system operation.
- Managing inventory of materials and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels for timely repairs.
- Providing exceptional customer service to our residents by addressing their maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
This position requires travel between multiple housing sites, so a valid Driver's License (B) is essential. A company vehicle will be provided for your convenience.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a maintenance or technical diploma (electricity, plumbing) at least at CAP/BEP level, preferably a Bac, with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in preventive and corrective building maintenance techniques and a strong understanding of safety regulations.
- A customer-centric approach and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
