About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer to join our team at ENGIE. As a key member of our Global Business Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting the acceleration of our Renewables (RES) asset development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate M&A transactions in France, including buy-side and sell-side agreements, from due diligence to post-closing.
- Implement and monitor partnerships, drafting and negotiating shareholders agreements.
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, such as non-recourse financings, and follow up on financing agreements.
- Review Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) across various geographies.
- Participate in cross-functional issues related to company governance and provide legal support to operational teams and management.
Requirements:
- Law degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an international law firm.
- Fluent French and English language skills.
