Information System Security Correspondent - Southwest Region

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in the Southwest region. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and promoting cybersecurity best practices within GRDF's regional operations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Represent the cybersecurity team at GRDF in your regional scope, communicating challenges, policy changes, and best practices to the central cybersecurity team.
  • Facilitate communication of cybersecurity incidents to GRDF's cyber defense team.
  • Coordinate the achievement of the region's cybersecurity objectives based on GRDF's overall cybersecurity goals.
  • Act as a promoter and facilitator of cybersecurity within your entity, supporting operational teams in integrating cybersecurity requirements and regulatory demands.
  • Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of various cybersecurity processes at GRDF, including the implementation of the Information Systems Security Policy (ISSP) and the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Support the implementation of local IT policies in the region.
  • Promote and disseminate cybersecurity best practices within your entity and conduct awareness activities.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity activities within regional entities, including identifying audit and risk analysis needs, monitoring action plans, managing vulnerabilities, and overseeing remediation plans.
  • Contribute to operational or ongoing cybersecurity controls and respond to cybersecurity inquiries from different parts of the organization.
  • Ensure cybersecurity objectives are met and generate security indicators and dashboards for your scope.
Your Profile:

You hold a Master's degree in a cybersecurity-related field and ideally have experience in the cybersecurity domain. You possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management, policies, and information security management systems. A cybersecurity certification would be beneficial.

You have a good grasp of the technologies used in information systems and how to protect them. You enjoy conducting awareness campaigns and possess excellent communication skills. This role requires attention to detail, strong writing abilities, and the ability to educate on cybersecurity topics effectively.
