The City of Cholet is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Leisure Activities Coordinator to contribute to our vibrant community programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging extracurricular activities for children and families.
• Plan and manage diverse leisure center programs, ensuring a stimulating and enriching experience for participants.
• Supervise and coordinate daily operations during school holidays, fostering a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Essential Duties

• Warmly welcome children and parents, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Organize educational and recreational activities that cater to various interests and age groups.
• Prioritize the well-being and safety of all participants, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Manage daily routines, including mealtimes and hygiene practices, adhering to established guidelines.
• Contribute to a clean and organized facility, maintaining a welcoming space for everyone.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BPJEPS Leisure for All Public qualification.
• Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Creative and adaptable approach to program development, tailoring activities to diverse needs and interests.

Work Environment

This full-time position involves working during school holidays and periods, with flexible schedules that may include evenings and weekends. The role requires mobility and the ability to adapt to various work environments within the City of Cholet's leisure facilities.
