Junior Buyer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Buyer / Product Manager to join our team at Chausson Matériaux in Saint-Alban. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Planning and Management
  • Participate in the development of sales plans.
  • Monitor and improve the quality of the articles file (creations, deletions, etc.).
  • Ensure the consistency of the stock plans of the agencies.
  • Verify the compliance of the sales plans and stock plans of the agencies.
• Tarification
  • Verify the compliance of purchase prices.
  • Ensure the interface between commercial managers and the Tariff department.
  • Prepare tariff updates.
• Formation
  • Take charge of the technical training of commercial teams.
• Commercial and Marketing
  • Conduct market analyses and write statistics.
  • Participate in the writing of catalogs and ensure their technical content.
  • Participate in and animate product commissions.
  • Monitor margins on your product family.
• Achats
  • Negotiate purchase conditions and referencing, including logistics.
  • Participate in the definition of the stock plan for your platform.
  • Be the guarantor of the quality of your platform's stocks.
  • Write purchase files for your suppliers.

Requirements

• Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in purchasing or equivalent experience (5 years) in materials.
• Skills
  • Rigorous, organized, with synthesis and analysis capabilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
