Position Overview:
This role is situated within the Procurement division of Safran Nacelles, reporting directly to the Machining & Forging Purchasing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and establish purchasing agreements for the Machining portfolio.
  • Develop and track annual productivity metrics for the portfolio.
  • Initiate purchase orders and oversee their successful fulfillment.
  • Enhance supplier performance in collaboration with procurement, supplier quality, and the Supplier Performance Manager (SPM).
  • Administer the supplier panel and mitigate associated risks.
  • Support the execution of the purchasing strategy for the commodity.

Portfolio Focus:
BTP (built to print) portfolio, including Free Forgings, Molded components, and Circular Laminates, with materials such as Aluminum and Titanium.

Qualifications:
BAC+5 degree with a focus on Purchasing or Commercial fields.
Proficiency in English is required.
Technical knowledge in mechanics, materials, and methods is essential.
Attributes such as autonomy, attention to detail, perseverance, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and proposal capabilities are vital.
Familiarity with legal and contractual aspects is advantageous.
Experience with SAP and Excel tools is preferred.

This is a junior-level position reporting to the Lead Buyer for Forge and Foundry.
