Job Summary

As a key member of the Maritime Kuhn team, you will be responsible for loading trucks and storing merchandise from ships docked at the Lorient port. Your primary mission will be to ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods, including operating material handling equipment, tracking products through conveyor belts, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor belts
• Tracking and monitoring inventory levels and product movement
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Participating in the recording of loading documents and temperature checks on stored products

Requirements

• Previous experience in operating heavy machinery and material handling equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a logistics or industrial setting
• Desirable: possession of a valid R (formerly R category) license
