Your Role: DevOps Engineer - Cloud-Native Big Data Solutions

As a key member of our DevOps team, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning our platform to a fully cloud-based SaaS offering. Your expertise in managing cloud infrastructure and security will be instrumental in building a robust and scalable production environment that meets the exacting demands of our clients.

You'll collaborate with a talented team of DevOps engineers who have already established CI/CD pipelines and deployed solutions on bare metal and Kubernetes environments. Your contributions will focus on refining these processes, ensuring seamless security integration, disaster recovery protocols, comprehensive monitoring, and effective alerting systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the infrastructure for our cloud-based SaaS platform, encompassing both internal needs and client requirements.
  • Implement robust security measures across all aspects of the platform, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in DevOps/DevSecOps practices, with a strong understanding of cloud computing principles (AWS preferred).
  • Extensive experience working with Kubernetes and a proficiency in at least one programming language (Go is highly desirable).
  • Hands-on experience operating SaaS environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • A Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French fluency is a plus.
